You'll want a car. It's a 10 to 15 minutes to Fennville, Douglas and Saugatuck, and 15 to 20 to Holland and the Lake Michigan beaches. New Richmond Bridge Park and its boat launch are next door, the 50,000-acre Allegan State Game Area is beside the property, the county roads are ORV-friendly, and Snowmobile Trail LP 594 is about 2 miles away.

While the river bordering the property offers stunning, peaceful views, the strong currents mean it is not suitable for swimming. Fortunately, there are several beautiful, family-friendly beaches just a short drive away that are perfect for a day by the water.
