Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a spacious living room, where large windows frame breathtaking views of the surrounding waterscape and downtown area, inviting the outside in. The living room is anchored by a cozy gas fireplace, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Adjacent, a game area promises fun and leisure for all ages.

The kitchen serves as the heart of the home, fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, a coffee bar, and all the essentials for cooking up your favorite meals. Whether it's a quick breakfast or a gourmet dinner, this kitchen caters to every chef's dream.

The home comfortably sleeps 6 adults. Sleeping arrangements on the main level include three bedrooms, each with a luxurious King bed. The primary suite has an en-suite bathroom, offering a serene retreat with balcony access for private moments of relaxation. Two additional bedrooms share a convenient jack-and-jill bathroom, with one of these rooms also enjoying its own balcony access, inviting guests to wake up to dazzling water vistas.

Ascend to the loft, where you'll find additional living spaces in the TV room and an open living room, one equipped with a futon and perfect for children. The loft provides a versatile area for relaxation or entertainment, complemented by elevated views of Saugatuck's scenic beauty.

The home features six balconies, five of which offer commanding views of the water and downtown, allowing guests to seamlessly connect with the vibrant life of Saugatuck. You will have private access to the entire condo, including 6 balconies. There are three condos below on the ground floor, but you will not be sharing any space with them.

The house has a keypad on the front door, and we’ll send you the code just before your stay. Should you have questions or encounter any issues, we will be available to respond quickly.

The Riverside Retreat is nestled alongside the Kalamazoo River in Saugatuck, where you can spend the day watching boats pass by and see the historic chain ferry bringing passengers to and from downtown.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the proximity to Oval Beach, consistently rated as one of the top beaches in the nation, where sunsets over Lake Michigan are nothing short of magical. Whether it's exploring the nearby dunes, hiking through lush trails, or simply enjoying a leisurely day by the water, there's no shortage of outdoor activities to engage in right outside your doorstep.

Just across the river is downtown Saugatuck, which is renowned for its quaint, picturesque streets brimming with artisan coffee shops, local restaurants, unique boutiques and vibrant galleries. It's a quick ride on the chain ferry to get there, or a 3-mile drive via the bridge over Lake Kalamazoo.

Although only a stone's throw away, the house is across the river from downtown Saugatuck. Unless you're taking the chain ferry (which has a limited schedule), you'll need a car to get to town. Another option for getting around is the Interurban, our local transit system that will pick you up and drop you off from any location in Saugatuck-Douglas!

Unfortunately this property is not dog-friendly.

There is space and hookups to dock a boat up to 60ft in length. If you plan to arrive by boat, please let us know in advance!
